amazing tour

Clark lead an amazing tour down Moonee Creek. The creek itself was beautiful to paddle board on and combined with stopping off at certain spots and hearing his stories of the Gumbaynggirr people and aboriginal song lines we had an amazing time.

Would highly recommend this tour for the cultural experience as well as an outdoor activity. Thanks again Clark!

awesome experience

We recently had the pleasure of participating in a cultural SUP tour at Red Rock.

The conditions on that May morning was beautiful and perfect and even better was the patience and knowledge of Jamie our tour guide. I had not paddled on a SUP board before and this did not matter at all. It was an awesome experience seeing and learning the history, flora and fauna down the Corindi River and one we would thoroughy recommend to anyone thinking of doing the SUP tour with this wonderful indigenous adventure business.

Thanks Kamla and Jamie. All the best from Mick and Lynette

enriched by the stories we heard

Thank you so much to Clarke and team. It was such a relaxed morning. Enjoyed the water, the sand, the country beneath us and enriched by the stories we heard. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our tours are tide dependent as we conduct them in the creeks and rivers of the Solitary Islands Marine Park waterways. We are a bookable product so you can select your preferred day, though our experienced team will contact you and may offer a change in time to make sure we are running the tour on high tide. We will try our best to work with any time constraints to make sure you can enjoy our tours.

We run on a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 15, but If you have a larger group please do not hesitate to contact us as we have ways to accommodate larger groups.

Yes! You will absolutely learn so much. Our Aboriginal guides will take you on an immersive journey through the rich Gumbaynggirr culture. The tour will show you old traditional sites, teach you about old traditional stories, and allow you to touch, smell and taste bush tucker, all while you hear the Gumbaynggirr language words embedded in this experience.

Yes! We are set up to work with and accommodate large corporate or school groups. And we are set up and working on attracting more wholesalers, inbound tour operators and online retailers so we can make our experience more accessible to a wider audience.

We are a 100% Aboriginal owned business that only uses Aboriginal guides. When creating the content of our tours we worked extensively with key community members and Elders to make sure we were only sharing information that was not culturally sensitive.

We offer lots more than just stand up paddle and walking tours. We offer Welcome to Countries for your next event, Smoking ceremonies, Dance performances, cultural awareness training and cultural insulations for your business e.g. RAP development or language signage translations.
